When Liberty Games got in touch and asked if we'd be interested in testing out and reviewing their Strikeworth Defender Football Table, we knew our football mad kids would never forgive us if we didn't jump at the opportunity! So, the day after chatting to Liberty Games a large parcel was delivered and major brownie points were gained with the kids!
The Mother Hub Meets series is dedicated to showcasing incredible, inspirational women here in Essex who have a story to tell and wisdom to share... And today's interview is no exception! We've been chatting to Jenna Collier, multi-award winning stationery designer and founder of Wonderland Invites, based in Leigh on Sea.
Alongside running her successful wedding stationery business, Jenna is also a full-time mum to her daughter, Darla (and is currently expecting number two!), so she knows a thing or two about 'the juggle'! And three years after setting up her business, she has some really juicy tips to share for anyone contemplating a similar path. This post is a must-read... grab a cuppa and enjoy!

Today on the Mother Hub Meets we're chatting Nicola Chantler - founder of the Chelmsford-based Little Yoga Studio. We first heard about Nicola's wonderful yoga classes for kids at the very start of our Mother Hub journey just over a year ago. We had been researching women in business in Essex and loved Nicola's concept of a yoga studio dedicated entirely to children. Her career journey is truly inspiring - formerly an editor at Express Newspapers and Yahoo!, Nicola set up the Little Yoga Studio after being made redundant and spotting a big gap in the market... and the rest is history! We're so happy to finally be sharing Nicola's story, along with her top tips for encouraging mindfulness in children.

I honestly can't believe six years have passed since we first set foot in our Edwardian semi. As "project bathroom" rears it's ugly (*read pricey) head, I'm hoping the process of writing a blog post about one of the rooms we have completed will serve as a reminder that, despite the looming projects, we really have come a long way to making this place look and feel like our home. These pics are not the best quality and you'll see a few rogue cables and a grey fur ball named Henry in their midst..but hey, we did promise you real home projects..
If you're searching for the perfect gift to surprise the little people in your life this Christmas, then look no further! We have scoured the internet, gift shops and toy stores far and wide to find presents that will keep on giving long after the holidays have passed. From captivating books and toys to feed their imagination, to games that the whole family can enjoy. With the help of this gift guide, you're bound to find a gift that is as unique as the child it's for.
