We're thrilled to announce The Mother Hub's launch event - a celebration of awesome women and a chance to raise a glass to the success of the #IAmAnEssexGirl campaign!
A gorgeous evening set in the beautiful Turner Barnes Gallery in Shenfield. To set the evening off, you will be greeted with a glass of fizz to sip (or down!) whilst you admire the incredible artwork and mingle with the other wonderful ladies attending the event. We'll also be providing nibbles, including of course a mince pie or two (it is Christmas, after all) and an exclusive Mother Hub goodie bag!
There will be a live Q&A session with a panel of inspirational women, all of them from Essex, including Saskia Clark (Olympic Gold Medalist), Emma Odell (owner of the fabulous Acanteen in Chelmsford), and Lady Bakewell aka Becky (founder of Lady Bakewell Park Fine British Baked Goods).
The event will be a chance for you to meet and mingle with a fabulous group of ladies. Whether you are meeting for the first time, or taking social media friendships into the real world, it will be a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, have a giggle and start exciting conversations.
Ticket price: £25 + booking fee
A percentage of all ticket sales will be going to the Essex Women's Advisory Group (EWAG), whose aim is to monitor the well-being of women and girls who live in Essex by broadening their vision, self-worth and belief, by helping them succeed in commerce, the arts and sports, and protecting and advising them if in trouble or distress. EWAG's beneficiaries include CARA - Centre for Action on Rape & Abuse, Girlguiding and Home Start Chelmsford.
